Your desert adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Fes. We travel south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European-style architecture and clean mountain atmosphere.
We continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. After lunch along the way, we drive through Midelt and the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic desert views.
Passing through Erfoud, known for fossils and dates, we finally arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert.
Here your camel caravan awaits. Enjoy a magical camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching the sunset over the Sahara.

Wake up early to admire the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After returning by camel or 4×4 vehicle, we begin our journey towards the spectacular Todra Gorges.
Along the way, we stop in Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and connection to the ancient caravan routes of the Sahara.
We continue through desert villages and oasis landscapes before arriving at the impressive Todra Gorges, where massive canyon walls rise up to 300 meters high. You can enjoy a walk through the gorge and relax by the river.
In the afternoon, we travel through the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, kasbahs, and beautiful landscapes known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.”

After breakfast, we continue through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm groves towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
We then visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Many international movies and TV series were filmed here.
After lunch near the kasbah, we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying panoramic views and traditional Berber villages along the route.
