Before Morocco Itran Tours became a travel company, there was a family.

We are six brothers who grew up together on the edge of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Beyond our village, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise from the desert. For many travelers, this landscape is a dream. For us, it was simply home.

This is where we grew up, where our family gathered, and where we learned important lessons about life. Above all, we learned to welcome strangers, share what we have, listen to people’s stories, and treat every guest with kindness.

Those values stayed with us as we grew older. Eventually, they became the heart of Morocco Itran Tours.

Today, we still carry those lessons on every journey. Although our tours travel across Morocco, our story will always begin in the Sahara.

We Grew Up Where Many Travelers Dream of Going

For many people, seeing the Sahara is a once-in-a-lifetime dream. For us, however, it was just outside our door.

As children, we watched the dunes change with the wind. We knew the silence of the desert before sunrise and the warm colors that appeared at sunset. We also knew cold winter nights beneath thousands of stars and hot summer days when the horizon seemed endless.

Still, our strongest memories are not only about the landscape.

They are about people.

We remember families gathering around food, tea being shared during long conversations, and stories passing from one generation to another. We remember music breaking the silence of desert evenings. Most of all, we remember guests arriving as strangers and leaving as friends.

Because of this, Merzouga taught us something we still believe today:

Hospitality is not simply something you provide. It is something you feel.

Then Travelers Started Arriving

Over the years, we began meeting travelers who had crossed thousands of kilometers to visit the place we called home.

They came from many countries. They spoke different languages and carried different stories. Yet, after spending some time together, those differences often became smaller.

We shared tea. We laughed together. We exchanged stories. Then, at the end of the day, we watched the same Sahara sunset.

As a result, we started seeing Morocco through their eyes.

Places that had always been part of our lives suddenly felt special again. At the same time, we began to understand what travelers were really looking for.

They did not only want to see Morocco.

They wanted to feel connected to it.

More Than Seeing Morocco

Travelers wanted to know what was behind the old kasbah walls. They wanted to meet people beyond the main tourist roads. In addition, they wanted to taste local food, hear traditional music, learn about our culture, and understand desert life.

Most importantly, many wanted a more personal experience.

That changed the way we thought about travel.

We realized that knowing Morocco gave us something valuable to share. We knew the roads, but we also knew the stories around them. We knew famous destinations, but we also knew quiet villages, local traditions, and places that rarely appear in guidebooks.

From that idea, Morocco Itran Tours began to grow.

Six Brothers, One Journey

We are six brothers, and each of us has his own personality and experiences. However, we all share the same roots.

The Sahara taught us patience. Our family taught us hospitality. Meanwhile, traveling across Morocco showed us how different each part of our country can be.

Together, these experiences shaped the way we believe people should travel.

We don’t want your Morocco journey to feel like a race from one attraction to another. Instead, we want you to have time to look around, ask questions, meet people, and enjoy the road.
