From here, the landscape becomes wilder as the road crosses the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing small villages and dramatic rocky scenery. Continue toward Agdz, where the beautiful Draa Valley opens into a landscape of palm groves, traditional villages, and old kasbahs. There will be time for panoramic stops and photographs along the way. By evening, arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to southern Morocco, and settle into your hotel or riad for dinner and a relaxing night.

    Meals: Breakfast & dinner

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

    Driving Distance: Approx. 370 km
    Driving Time: Approx. 6–7 hours

After breakfast, your journey continues toward the Sahara Desert. First, travel through the palm-filled oasis of Skoura, where traditional kasbahs and green gardens contrast beautifully with the surrounding dry landscape. Continue through the Valley of Roses and into the dramatic Dades Valley before reaching Todra Gorge, famous for its towering limestone cliffs. Enjoy a short walk beside the river and some time for photographs before continuing through Tinjdad and Erfoud toward Merzouga. As you approach the Sahara, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi slowly appear on the horizon. Here, one of the most memorable experiences of your 8 days Morocco desert tour from Agadir begins. Ride a camel across the dunes as the sun sets, then arrive at your Sahara desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional music around the campfire, and a peaceful night beneath the desert stars.

    Meals: Breakfast & dinner

    Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

    Driving Distance: Approx. 470 km
    Driving Time: Approx. 7–8 hours

Wake early if you would like to watch the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi before breakfast. After leaving Merzouga, begin the long but beautiful journey north toward Fes. The road first crosses the spectacular Ziz Valley, where thousands of date palms stretch between dry mountains and traditional villages. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint before continuing through Errachidia and toward Midelt, a mountain town known for its apple orchards and a convenient place for lunch. Afterward, climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains, where the landscape changes from desert plains to cedar forests. Near Azrou, you may see wild Barbary macaques among the cedar trees. Continue to Ifrane, known for its clean streets, gardens, and distinctive alpine-style architecture. Your 8 days Morocco itinerary then reaches Fes by evening, where you can check into your traditional riad and relax after a fascinating day of changing landscapes.

    Meals: Breakfast

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

Driving Distance: Approx. 20–30 km of local transfers
Driving Time: Approx. 1 hour total, depending on stops

After breakfast, meet your licensed local guide and begin discovering Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most fascinating imperial cities. Start with a panoramic view from Borj Sud before visiting the impressive Royal Palace gates and the historic Mellah, the old Jewish Quarter. Then enter the UNESCO-listed Fes medina, where narrow streets lead through lively souks, traditional workshops, fountains, and centuries-old buildings. Visit the famous Chouara Tanneries and admire the detailed architecture of Bou Inania Madrasa. Near Al-Qarawiyyin, walk through neighborhoods where artisans still work with leather, copper, wood, and pottery using skills passed through generations. Your guide will help bring the history and traditions of the city to life while leaving time to enjoy its atmosphere. Later, you can shop, relax over Moroccan food, or simply watch daily medina life before returning to your riad for the evening.

    Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

    Driving Distance: Approx. 200 km
    Driving Time: Approx. 3.5–4 hours

After breakfast, leave Fes and travel north through the beautiful countryside toward the Rif Mountains. Along the way, rolling green hills, olive groves, farmland, and small villages reveal another side of Morocco. By midday, arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City tucked beneath the mountain peaks. After checking into your riad, enjoy the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. Wander through blue-painted lanes, discover small artisan shops, and stop in Plaza Uta el-Hammam for mint tea while watching everyday life around you. Chefchaouen is a wonderful place to slow down after several days on the road. Later, you can walk toward the Spanish Mosque, where the hillside offers one of the best panoramic views over the blue medina, especially around sunset. This relaxed day adds a completely different atmosphere to your 8 Days Morocco Tour from Agadir, combining mountain scenery, local culture, and time to explore independently.

    Meals: Breakfast

    Day 6: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Marrakech

    Driving Distance: Approx. 520 km
    Driving Time: Approx. 7.5–8.5 hours

Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and travel south toward Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites. Explore the remains of this ancient Roman city, where columns, arches, and detailed floor mosaics offer a glimpse into life nearly two thousand years ago. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, and see its monumental architecture, including the impressive Bab Mansour area. After time for lunch, begin the longer drive south toward Marrakech. The scenery changes again as you cross agricultural plains and travel toward the High Atlas region. This is the longest driving day of the journey, so stops will be made along the way for rest, refreshments, and photographs. By evening, arrive in Marrakech and check into your riad in or near the medina. If you still have energy, you can experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna before settling in for the night.

    Meals: Breakfast

Day 7: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Driving Distance: Approx. 15–25 km of local transfers
Driving Time: Approx. 1 hour total, depending on stops

After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a full day discovering Marrakech, Morocco’s famous Red City. Explore Bahia Palace with its elegant courtyards, mosaics, and traditional Moroccan craftsmanship before continuing to other historic landmarks in the old city. See the Koutoubia Mosque and its distinctive minaret, then discover the beautiful architecture of Ben Youssef Madrasa. From here, enter the colorful souks, where artisans sell leather goods, spices, lanterns, carpets, jewelry, and handmade crafts. Eventually, the narrow streets lead toward Jemaa el-Fna, the lively square at the heart of Marrakech. Your guide will share stories about the city’s history and culture while giving you time to enjoy its atmosphere. This slower day provides a welcome balance within your 8 days Morocco itinerary. After the guided visit, enjoy free time for shopping, a rooftop café, Majorelle Garden, or another walk through the medina.

    Meals: Breakfast

Day 8: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Taroudant – Agadir

    Driving Distance: Approx. 300 km
    Driving Time: Approx. 5–6 hours

After breakfast, the final day of your 8 days Morocco desert tour from Agadir takes you back toward the Atlantic coast through another beautiful section of southern Morocco. Leave Marrakech and travel toward the High Atlas Mountains, where winding roads reveal valleys, traditional villages, terraced fields, and impressive mountain scenery. Continue toward the historic town of Taroudant, surrounded by its distinctive ochre-colored walls and known for its relaxed medina and local souks. Depending on your schedule, enjoy a short stop to stretch your legs, have lunch, or explore before continuing through the fertile Souss Valley. As you approach Agadir, the mountains gradually give way to broad agricultural plains and the Atlantic landscape. Your eight-day journey ends with drop-off at your hotel or Agadir Airport. After crossing deserts, mountains, imperial cities, villages, and ancient medinas, you leave with a much deeper picture of Morocco and many memories from the road.

Great trip and experience An Unforgettable Family Adventure in Morocco with Adi 🇲🇦❤️ Our 6-day trip through Morocco with Adi was truly one of the best vacations our family has ever experienced! We traveled as a group of 9 — two families with 4 kids — and from Marrakech to Merzouga and the Sahara, every day brought something new and unforgettable. What made the trip especially meaningful was that we were celebrating my daughter’s 15th birthday, and Adi helped make it a celebration she will remember for the rest of her life. We had so many amazing experiences: riding camels through the Sahara, sandboarding on the dunes, enjoying endless Moroccan tea, exploring Marrakech, and learning about the history, traditions, food, and culture of Morocco. But beyond the activities, what really made the trip special was the way Adi took care of our group. He made us feel comfortable, welcome, and truly immersed in the Moroccan experience. Traveling with 9 people, including 4 kids, could easily have been complicated, but Adi made everything feel smooth and enjoyable. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. “This is something our families will remember forever.” If you are considering a trip to Morocco, especially with family or a group, I highly recommend traveling with Adi. He didn’t just show us Morocco — he helped us experience it. Thank you, Adi, for an incredible adventure and for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime! 🇲🇦🐪🏜️☕❤️ 10/10 — an experience we would happily do all over again!

Not worth it, there are better options The quad bikes are new and great overall, but the guides were 13 year old children and they didn’t understand any english or even french. The ride itself wasn’t very exciting, we were riding at 10-15 km/h for the whole hour which was uncomfortable in the 40 degree celsius heat in the evening. For the money, I would recommend taking a 4x4 pick up/suv ride in the dunes with a guide instead. This was a waste of money for us.
