Prepare for an unforgettable journey through some of Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes. First, you travel across the High Atlas Mountains. Then you explore ancient kasbahs and discover green valleys lined with palm trees and traditional villages.
You visit the famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou and walk under the high cliffs of Todra Gorge. After that, you spend two full days in the Merzouga desert. You enjoy a sunset camel ride, sleep under the stars, visit nomad families, listen to Gnawa music, and have more time to relax or try optional desert activities.
Finally, you drive north through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas to reach the historic city of Fes.

Your adventure starts with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. First, you leave the lively streets of the Red City and begin the climb into the High Atlas Mountains through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, you enjoy wide views of deep valleys, rocky peaks, and traditional Berber villages built on the mountainsides.
Next, you stop to explore Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most impressive old fortified villages. Filmmakers have used this place in many famous movies and TV shows. After that, you continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Then you drive through the peaceful Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses, where thousands of rose bushes grow. Finally, you arrive in the dramatic Dades Valley in the evening and check into your hotel or riad.

After breakfast, you continue through the beautiful Dades Valley and stop at several viewpoints to see its famous rock shapes and green palm groves set against dry mountains. Then you travel to Todra Gorges, where high limestone cliffs rise more than 300 meters above a clear river. Here you can walk through the gorge and enjoy the strong natural scenery.
Later, you pass through the towns of Tinjdad and Erfoud, known for fossils and date production. In the afternoon you reach Merzouga as the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi come into view. Next, you meet your camel team and ride across the soft sand while watching a beautiful Sahara sunset. When you arrive at the luxury desert camp, you enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. After dinner, you listen to Berber music and drumming around the campfire under a sky full of stars.

You wake up early to see the magical sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a relaxed breakfast at the camp, you spend a full day exploring the Merzouga desert region. First, you visit a local nomad family and learn about their traditional desert lifestyle, customs, and warm hospitality. Then you continue to the village of Khamlia, famous for its special Gnawa music, a unique spiritual tradition.
In addition, you explore the surrounding dunes and wide desert landscapes. You can also visit seasonal desert lakes when they have water and discover fossil sites nearby. Optional activities include quad biking, sandboarding, buggy driving, or a 4×4 dune excursion. In the afternoon, you return to your hotel near the dunes and enjoy free time to relax, take photos, or simply enjoy the peace of the Sahara before dinner.

After breakfast, you leave the desert behind and stop in Rissani to visit its lively traditional market. Then you drive through the long and green Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful palm valleys in Morocco, with thousands of date trees stretching for many kilometers.
Later, you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in the cedar forest near Azrou, where wild Barbary monkeys live freely among the ancient trees. After that, you pass through Ifrane, a clean and charming town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European-style houses and cool climate. Finally, you arrive in Fes in the evening and check into your riad or hotel. The tour ends in Fes, with drop-off at your accommodation or the airport available on request.
